RHIAN BENSON follows up ‘Better Without You’ with the stunning new song “BE” which features Jonas Rendbo and is taken from RHIAN’s current album ‘Hands Clean’.
The influence of classic soul and jazz greats of yesteryear comes to mind when you hear British/Ghanaian Rhian Benson sing. Her songs are effortless, elegant and timeless in a way that is rare in this era of artists.
“It’s a very important song to me. It’s about being true to yourself and being able to find the inner you in the crazy world we live in,” RHIAN says of the song. The theme of the song is also reflected in the video. “It’s a really exciting video, very epic, one of the most exciting videos I have done,” she adds.

Ssup people,
now you know ordinarily i keeps it soulful up in here but very occasionally something mad grimey will hit me right in di face and it’ll be something that i need to let you know about. On this occasion it happens to be my boy and BBC Radio 1xtra colleague, DJ Cameo alongside Paperbwoy with their heavyweight tunage.

Remember the name Trevante and where you heard it first! A brand new signing to Interscope records, this kid is going to be huge and is already being compared to Justin Bieber so keep a close eye on him!
The debut album, “I Am Trevante” is slated for a 2011 release and Trevante has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s elite producers and writers: Chris Brown, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Diane Warren, Rico Love, Tank & The Underdogs to name but a few. Looking forward to that dropping…In the meantime, check his debut single ‘Be My Girl’ Official music video. Also watchout out for a world premiere of another Trev track on my show in the next couple of weeks.
