Modern day soul music genius Anderson .Paak returns with his new song “Lockdown” taking on the subject of Police brutality, racial injustice in the U.S and the protests happening all over the world in the wake of the brutal murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police.
The track comes with a very powerful video with cameo appearances from Jay Rock and Syd (The Internet) amongst others.
A.P tackles the aforementioned issues head on in a way only he can.
This is both powerful, emotive and on top of that, too funky.
U need to check this!
BIG love

Been a fan of JoJo since her debut single ‘Leave (Get Out)’ which she recorded at a ridiculously young age back in 2004.
Showcasing her vocal talent from then, the rebel R&B soulstress has now unleashed this heavyweight follow up to ‘Joanna’ with the brilliant CHIKA dropping a verse on here for supremely good measure.
The video filmed on the streets of downtown L.A is truly captivating and the track goes down as one of my faves of the year!!
Enjoy the video!

Congratulations going out to the R&B crooner Donell Jones celebrating the 20th anniversary since the release of his classic and second studio album ‘Where I Wanna Be’ released back in 1999.
It was his most successful album coming via LaFace records.
Although i loved his album ‘Journey of a Gemini’, ‘Where I Wanna Be’ pretty much smashed it in terms of the BIGGER tunes including, ‘Shorty (Got Here Eyes On Me)’, the monster smash ‘U Know What’s Up’ which featured Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopez, and the track featured on the vid below ‘This Luv’. Have a reminisce session and enjoy!

Here’s a cool slice of soul from Tel Aviv group Masok.
“Right Up Your Alley”, The first single from their forthcoming “The Bigger The Risk” Album, this is a comforting combination of honest lyrics about an artist’s struggles and a humorous state of mind.
Nomok’s minimalistic beat and Jenny’s slick vocals, along with Boaz’s non-compromising vision, turned into this spicy piece of art.
Why take things so seriously? Just dance instead.
