Daughter of Grammy Award winning Blues legend Taj Mahal, Deva Mahal steps out into the spotlight with her hauntingly distinctive vocal on the Electric Wire Hustle track, ‘March‘.

The group have just released their first video from last year’s Aeons EP, making the beauty of their featured artist’s voice impossible to ignore! Deva Mahal belongs to pop/jazz group Frederick Browns, but has hinted that she is currently working on a solo project and therefore is definitely a lady to look out for!

After releasing his third album, ‘Wildheart‘ in June last year Miguel has delivered a new EP entitled, ‘Rogue Waves‘ containing five vastly different remixes of his track ‘Waves‘.

Whilst some of the vibes on the EP are lacking a soulful sound, this remix featuring Travis Scott, produced by Cash Dillon blends RnB with rap perfectly. Check out the retro style video below and pick up the Waves EP here

Giving fans a taste of what’s to come on her forthcoming new album due for release later this year, Keke Palmer drops a killer collaboration with Jeremih entitled ‘Enemiez‘ that we can’t get enough of!! Check out the hot new video below and pick up the single here

Fresh from informing Radio 1 listeners that her debut album is “nearly finished”, UK’s queen of electro-RnB Nao drops her new single, ‘Fool to Love‘.

Staying true to her distinctively pop/soul/electro hybrid sound, ‘Fool to Love‘ is uptempo and infectious. Having just announced a world tour (sorry guys the London date is already sold out!) 2016 is looking like a big year for Nao!

OK so whilst us RnB fans are a little upset that it’s been years since we’ve had any fresh material from the man himself, Raphael Saadiq has been doing a great job at endorsing new talent and bringing it to our attention! After ‘presenting’ Adrian Marcel in 2013, Saadiq is back to introduce us to singer / songwriter Jane Handcock as she releases her debut album, ‘Truth Be Told‘.

This album is an essential debut for RnB fans!! Click below to listen and pick up the album here

Some collaborations are just sonically superior – this is one of them. Soulstress Yuna is getting ready to release her new album, ‘Chapters‘ in May and has just released the second single, ‘Crush‘ which features Usher.

Sultry, soothing and addictive, click below to listen and pick up ‘Crushhere.

Singer / songwriter Raleigh Ritchie has been grabbing our attention since 2013 when he released his debut EP, ‘The Middle Child‘. Two EP’s, sold out gigs and lots of anticipation later today he drops his debut album entitled, ‘You’re a Man Now Boy‘.

Undeniably distinctive, Raleigh delivers 18 highly personal, self penned tracks on the album, blending a perfect balance of vulnerability and accessibility on each song. Whilst tracks like, ‘You’re a Man Now Boy‘ and ‘Never Better‘ provide insights into Raleigh’s private life, others such as ‘The Last Romance‘ and ‘The Chased‘ play out like stories that listeners are taken on a journey for. There are lots of upbeat, fun moments too with tracks like ‘Keep it Simple‘ which features Stormzy and ‘The Greatest‘.

The slick production of the album comes from the likes of DJ Dahi, Sounwave, Chris Loco and more. If you want to fully appreciate the beauty of this album, takes some time and really listen, Raleigh Ritchie is not making background music with this album, it is a truly creative piece of work and an impressive, impactful debut.

Two years ago I interviewed Eric Roberson for a soul magazine when he gave me the insanely exciting news that he and long term collaborator Phonte (Foreign Exchange, Little Brother) were heading to the studio together to record a collaboration album!

Whilst we have all been patiently waiting, hoping it wasn’t an empty promise, it seems that Erro and Phonte HAVE been in the studio and the album is set for release on the 22nd of July on Erro’s own label, Blue Erro Soul.

No title has been announced yet but we’ll keep you posted of any more info and hopefully some tour dates!

For us RnB fans there’s some incredible gigs coming up in London! Here’s the ones we think you need to know about which will also be getting reviewed and discussed by our very own Ronnie Herel as and when they happen on The BIG RnB Show on Mi Soul radio.
