This Washington DC Hip Hop soulstress has delivered one of my favourite projects of the year. ‘Shea Butter Baby’ is the debut album from Ari delivering the that Dreamville flavour all over the 12 track set. Cuts like ‘Whipped Cream’, ‘New Apartment’ & ‘Facetime’ have been regular features on my radio show and after interviewing the lady herself, she has further raised the levels of endearment with her approach to singing, songwriting, making music and life.
