Ne-Yo – One In A Million

Here’s the new video, shot in Hollywood, for Ne-Yo’s third single from his forthcoming album ‘Libra Scale’.

These The Way You Make Me Feel videos give me jokes. I’m still waiting to see a Yo (Excuse Me Miss) or a Just A Friend in real life, just to see the girl’s reaction, and maybe to see if the boy gets arrested – but I guess there’s only one way to find out. One of these days you may see me stalking a PYT to an R&B beat and stopping traffic to buss some moves on Oxford Street.

Certain people need to stop working with eachother becuase, even though this tune is decent, it’s actually becoming the usual. The ironing. But na, the world’s not ready for any more Beyonce & Jigga collabs, Timbaland & Magoo aren’t allowed to put out another album and even Alicia Keys knows better than to release an Empire State Of Mind Pt3, so who told these guys they could get away with it? I’m not hating, I’m just shook of it becoming a Pokemon Heart Gold or Big Brother 11 situation 27 collabs down the line.

Stil, it just leaked a couple hours ago and it’s looking like the next one from Trey’s forthcoming album Passion, Pain & Pleasure.

THIS TUNE IS TOO MUCH FOR THE ROADS! Ronnie spins it on a regs on his RnB show and the video has just dropped for Jazmine Sullivan – Holding You Down. It’s quite cool, bit of a throwback to the 80’s with an appearance from Grandmaster Flash and Doug E Fresh! Oh and Missy, but slyly she’s stuck in the 80’s anyway..

A massive highlight for me this week was when I hooked up with Goodie Mob & Gnarls Barkley member Cee Lo Green for an interview. The southern soulster is such a top man!
Whilst engaging in conversation regarding the forthcoming solo album ‘Cee Lo Green is The Lady Killer’, he explained that this is an unofficial video but because it’s blown up so quickly, much the same as his hit Crazy, they had to throw something together until the Official Video comes @ ya.
It’s already had nearly 3 million views which establishes it as a sure fire viral hit.

Watch out for my full i/view special with the The Lady Killer himself on BBC Radio 1xtra…In the meantime enjoy this video version of the single ‘F-*k You’.

Wassup my R&B fam!
Here’s a unique music video taken from a new album entitled ‘ I’m gonna be somebody’ by UK soulster, Michael Lloyd Pinq.
The soulful track and beautiful cinematography of this video, materialise the singer’s determination to triumph over adversity as a black kid growing up without a father in London. If you’re into the likes of Anthony Hamilton, there’s no doubt you’ll be feeling this.
