Grammy-nominated Soul singer, Leon Bridges has just dropped his highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Good Thing’. The 10-track album features the singles ‘Bad Bad News’, ‘Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand’ and ‘Beyond’. It’s a contemporary soul/R&B album, however, he has Jazz/Funk driven tracks such as ‘Bad Bad News’. Leon Bridges rose to notoriety in 2015 when he released his first album, ‘Coming Home’, the album channelled early ’60s R&B which caught the attention of many. Bridges sweet soul music is bringing a new flavour to R&B and this new album is cementing his path within the industry.

I’ve always been a massive fan of this lady so was extremely happy when I heard her announce she’d be dropping an album in the fall called ‘Passion Like Fire’ also quoted in this Salaam Remi produced / Co written gem.

Salaam is a production giant developing hits for the Fugees, Amy Winehouse, Nas and Miguel and he’s locked in his familiar hip hop soul stamp on this beauty of a record.

This will be the former Quincy Jones’ protégé’s 7th studio album coming via (e)one (entertainment one) and I’m hoping the rest of the album has input from Salaam because Tamia sits beautifully in this lane.

Enjoy this piece of audio niceness

Known for his R&B flavour, Ne-Yo has just dipped his toe into the pop/ dancehall sound. His new single ‘Push Back’, explores a different side to Ne-Yo which I didn’t see coming, especially compared to his last record ‘Good Man’. ‘Push Back’ isn’t R&B but there is still something about it that has me hooked, featuring pop star, Bebe Rexha and UK rapper, Stefflon Don the single could very well be the perfect summer jam.

The single will feature on Ne-Yo’s upcoming album, ‘Good Man’ set for release June 8. The album will feature 2Chainz, PartyNextDoor, Ty Dolla $ign and others.

British singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer, Angel has just dropped his new single ‘Woman’. This is a remarkable and beautifully done track that once you hear it, speaks to your soul. The sweet gem is all about celebrating women and expressing his love. It seems as though he is taking his music back to the 90s R&B theme when it was all about evoking feelings of love, lust and romance.

It’s really exciting to see a UK R&B artist doing their thing in the R&B industry. Angel has been around for a minute and he keeps getting better and better.

CoZ are responsible for “The Story So Far”, my favourite album of 2017 and are set to deliver my favourite album of 2018.
They’ve unleashed a double sided beast of a record to get the ball rolling on album two (although when i interviewed them, they insisted that “The Story So Far” was actually a set up EP and was just a sign of things to come. I believe that now!
“Slow down” is a soothing, soulful summer anthem kicking off with Tyler delivering vocal perfection before Konny spits a verse later in the track as does Tyler.
“All Night” is a lil boom bap hip hop soul gem that is up there with the standard they’ve set themselves as artists. BIG & FLAWLESS!!
Konny Kon & Tyler Daley aka CoZ have absolutely smashed it with these two new tracks.
Long may their reign of fire continue.

I’m a massive fan of this exciting new artist. She seems to be going from strength to strength and has now reached that point where anything she releases, i’m interested simply because of her open hearted lyricism and heavyweight beats designed for her supple vocal delivery.

Hailing from Leicester, Mahalia’s latest offering is produced by Maths Times Joy who was also responsible for her stand-out cut ‘Sober’ (9 Million YouTube views).

There is currently no video for this track as yet but it’s so hot i needed to share it with you. When the official vid is ready i’ll replace this audio with visual, in the meantime, enjoy!!

In anticipation of the release of Mỳa’s eighth studio album, the songstress has just dropped another sultry and sensual single, but we wouldn’t expect anything less from the stunning superstar! ‘Knock You Out’, produced by MyGuyMars, sees Mỳa’s soft vocals laid over a slow beat, setting an intimate mood in combination with a steady guitar. Mỳa has built us up for the album entitled ‘T.K.O’ since last year. Set for release 20th April 2018 you can expect traditional R&B slow jams including her singles, ‘Ready for Whatever’, ‘Ready, Part II’, ‘You Got Me’ and ‘Damage’.
