Maxwell has returned with a politically-charged balled ‘We Never Saw It Coming’. The record reflects on how the world has changed in the last few years, really switching things up for Maxwell. As ever you can hear his powerful voice push through on the delicate, sombre and expertly-crafted piano ballad.

This is his first release since his 2016 album, ‘blackSUMMERS’night’. Since then Maxwell has been touring and letting fans know his next album, ‘blacksummers’NIGHT’ is coming soon.

Sammie stays switching up his music and he just dropped a remix to ‘Tempo’ originally released by Chris Brown on his 2017 album, ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon. The remix stays true to the original chorus but Sammie changes things up on the verses. The R&B jam complements Sammie’s style of music. It’s a wicked record, which I  believe will be a summer jam.

Known for his R&B flavour, Ne-Yo has just dipped his toe into the pop/ dancehall sound. His new single ‘Push Back’, explores a different side to Ne-Yo which I didn’t see coming, especially compared to his last record ‘Good Man’. ‘Push Back’ isn’t R&B but there is still something about it that has me hooked, featuring pop star, Bebe Rexha and UK rapper, Stefflon Don the single could very well be the perfect summer jam.

The single will feature on Ne-Yo’s upcoming album, ‘Good Man’ set for release June 8. The album will feature 2Chainz, PartyNextDoor, Ty Dolla $ign and others.

British singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer, Angel has just dropped his new single ‘Woman’. This is a remarkable and beautifully done track that once you hear it, speaks to your soul. The sweet gem is all about celebrating women and expressing his love. It seems as though he is taking his music back to the 90s R&B theme when it was all about evoking feelings of love, lust and romance.

It’s really exciting to see a UK R&B artist doing their thing in the R&B industry. Angel has been around for a minute and he keeps getting better and better.

In anticipation of the release of Mỳa’s eighth studio album, the songstress has just dropped another sultry and sensual single, but we wouldn’t expect anything less from the stunning superstar! ‘Knock You Out’, produced by MyGuyMars, sees Mỳa’s soft vocals laid over a slow beat, setting an intimate mood in combination with a steady guitar. Mỳa has built us up for the album entitled ‘T.K.O’ since last year. Set for release 20th April 2018 you can expect traditional R&B slow jams including her singles, ‘Ready for Whatever’, ‘Ready, Part II’, ‘You Got Me’ and ‘Damage’.

It would appear living legend, Toni Braxton is yet to un-break her heart based on her new album ‘Sex & Cigarettes’. However, if this is the music she produces with a broken heart we are not sure we want it fixed. Although it’s a short album with only eight tracks, she has some real hits. Her single ‘Long As I Live’ is currently generating a buzz but the single also entitled ‘Sex & Cigarette’ is a real treat for R&B ballad lovers. Braxton pouring out her heart on the record, accompanied by a smooth piano, gives us what I can only describe as soulful deliciousness.
