Charlie Brown – Tipped as the Breakout star for 2013

November 28th, 2012

Strikingly talented singer/songwriter Charlie Brown has exploded onto the R&B scene with his new single “Dependency” & it’s got ‘hit’ written all over it.
The track feature’s two of the UK’s hottest urban artists, Play Dirty’s Yungen & vocalist Ms D (best known for her part on Wiley’s recent number one “Heatwave”)
Due for release on 2nd December, the stunning vocals & instantly catchy beat make it one of the best UK collaborations I’ve heard for some time. It effortlessly combines an underground vibe with the commercial sound that’ll have you pressing ‘replay’ after the very first listen.
With his debut album “Dreamstate” scheduled for release next summer, South Londoner Charlie Brown is tipped to be one of 2013′s most exciting prospects & if this track’s anything to go by, it’s not hard to see why!
Check out the video below & pre-order the single now on iTunes.

Jermaine Riley’s New Mixtape has “Something For Everyone”

November 14th, 2012

With many citing him as the UK’s answer to Usher, Jermaine Riley does not disappoint with the arrival of his stunning new mixtape Ten Eleven Twelve.
Following the huge success of his debut album “Hello Earth”, his latest project boasts massive ‘Refixes’ of tracks from Chris Brown, Miguel, Usher & more, formulated in his own unique style amidst the red hot¬†production that we’ve come to expect from the UK R&B playa.
Beautiful harmonies combine with remarkably honest &¬†personal lyrics to give you a true sense of who Jermaine Riley really is & tracks such as “Bad Guy”, “I Hate It” & “The Old Me” showcase his special story-telling talents to perfection.
With this being (in my opinion) his highest calibre of work yet & described by Jermaine as “something for everyone” he surely won’t remain unsigned for long.
Check out Ten Eleven Twelve below & enjoy!
