So here was another great opportunity to check out an incredible artist at work but this time in the close setting of the legendary BBC Maida Vale studios in London.
I arrived early, so early infact, i caught most of the soundcheck which was siiiick!
Lucky me was going to interview the multi talented Alicia Keys. We met up backstage for a lil chat before she headed out to entertain the intimate crowd of 100 willing and waiting fans.
Alicia’s a singer, songwriter, pianist, producer, she’s beautiful and…she cooks!!
Oh my dayz the perfect woman…but is there anything she isn’t good at??? Find out now with one click!

Young Nate dropped a free EP for the lovers called ‘The Last of The Sweetboy’.

This includes songs with features from Scorcher, Tinchy Stryder, unreleased tracks and snippets of new material.

I think Nate is quality, Ronnie’s a big supporter and had Nate follow him on his unsigned freshers tour back in September. I feel with the right track and with enough backing he could blow. Hopefully the new album will be a good look for him.

Click here for the download and follow him here on twitter.

I think it’s safe to say that anyone who appreciates and loves good music knows that Teedra Moses deserves a 21 gun salute.

Her first album ‘Complex Simplicity’ was SERIOUS. Her voice is so sweet it gives me toothache. This is a 12 track free EP for Valentines Day but to  be honest, if you know love this can run at any time.

Cannot WAIT for Teedra’s new album.

Shout to Semtex/Roy for this one.

Let Love live!

Ps. This is my sexy Love tattoo on my wrist.

I’ve Just been to checkout the flick ‘Precious’ directed by Lee Daniels. Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, it was an acting debut for Gabourey Sidibe who plays the title character who goes thru the mill in the movie let me tell you.
Its actually not hard to see why Oprah got on board as Executive Producer as the flick tells a very powerful story.
Exhilerating performances from comedienne Mo’Nique, who’s already bagged a Golden Globe for her role as mum of Precious, and Mrs Robin Thicke aka Paula Patton as the caring shool teacher. (Why wasnt she at my school???)
Both Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz are convincing in supporting roles although i did find myself over analysing their performances because of who they are. I cant see me being the only one to do this. All that said a really enjoyable film. Ladies and soft lads will probably shed a lil tear or two.
Important note: Heavy tunage from Mary J Blige, Jean Carne, MSFB and Queen Latifah on the OST. Lovin that! 4/5

Now.. I know several times I’ve made my opinion on Beyonce clear. Love her pre B’day aka pre Jay Z.. but I wouldn’t call her a stupid girl.. unlike Pink.

Shameguy.
