Soulful R&B songstress Juliyaa is making ‘waves’ right now with the release of her distinctive debut EP “Stars & Dragons”
The EP title represents her cultural heritage – the ‘Black Star’ of Ghana & the ‘Red Dragon’ of Wales. These influences shine through in her music & lyrics, giving you the perfect introduction to this fun-loving yet contemplative artist.
Juliyaa’s beautiful vocals & sublime harmonies unite with both lively Urban beats & more traditional soulful sounds to showcase her very own style that she calls ‘Rhythmic Soul’. The 6 track EP features notable production from UK beat-makers Basil Hanson, Antony On The Beat & Mo-Keyz.

Strikingly talented singer/songwriter Charlie Brown has exploded onto the R&B scene with his new single “Dependency” & it’s got ‘hit’ written all over it.
The track feature’s two of the UK’s hottest urban artists, Play Dirty’s Yungen & vocalist Ms D (best known for her part on Wiley’s recent number one “Heatwave”)
Due for release on 2nd December, the stunning vocals & instantly catchy beat make it one of the best UK collaborations I’ve heard for some time. It effortlessly combines an underground vibe with the commercial sound that’ll have you pressing ‘replay’ after the very first listen.
With his debut album “Dreamstate” scheduled for release next summer, South Londoner Charlie Brown is tipped to be one of 2013’s most exciting prospects & if this track’s anything to go by, it’s not hard to see why!

Jay James Picton is the most exciting singer to come outta Wales since the big man Sir Tom Jones. Yep i said it!!
JJ’s silky vocals are about as soulful and engaging as it gets…And the talent doesn’t end there as this budding director has himself created this “Battlecall” video from his “Heads Vs Hearts” mixtape…The video being Part 1 of a 3 part mini film.
Currently working with such musical heavyweights as Booker T Jones (legend) & James Poyser (Roots) to name but a few, what’s in store is truly a mouthwatering musical prospect.
The debut album “Play It By Heart” will drop August 27th followed by the release of his incredible single “Long May They Roll” coming out September 10th.
