Been following this kids work for a minute after he put out a cool track ‘How I Feel’ last year he’s finally dropped his debut video via Link Up TV called ‘Relocate’
This is most definitely the full phatness!!
Watch this space…Delo is here!

I’ve developed into a BIG fan of this guy and i must say, for a pleasant change, a major label (RCA) seems to have got it right with the way they’ve built up an Soul / R&B artists output.
Anyhow let’s not speak to soon. Bottom line is Lucky Daye is a talent i’m interseted in championing and the album ‘Painted’ is a fantastic debut outing. After spinning ‘Karma’, and ‘Real Games’ from the EP II, my favourite album cut is definitely ‘Extra’. However there is no video for that presently so i wanted to share another great video cut from the debut set.
Check the album ‘PAINTED’ and in the meantime enjoy this!

So, about the other night, I attended the Mariah Carey Caution World Tour at Royal Albert Hall, and it was EPIC. With flawless vocals, six dress changes and makeup touch-ups in between songs, Ms Carey’s performance was perfection. She pleased everyone with some throwback hits to new music including; ‘Touch My Body’, ‘A No No’, ‘Fantasy’ ‘Hero’ and ‘We Belong Together’, to name a few, she catered to us all.

One of the highlights of the night was the #JusticeForGlitter medley, which included; ‘Never Too Far’, ‘Last Night a DJ Saved My Life’, ‘Loverboy’ and ‘Didn’t Mean to Turn You On’. This segment was added to her set list after fans back in 2018 made her ‘Glitter’ album reach No 1. on iTunes. Her free spirit and high energy oozed over to the audience and had us all singing along.

This was the first time seeing the living legend live, and I was highly impressed with the show, and she delivered.

Etta Bond is definitely on my page with this wonderful set of heartfelt songs from her two albums released simultaneously. Both oozing with a wholelottasoul.
‘He’s [not] Mine’ and ‘He’s Mine’ are albums you need in your life if you’re remotely into Soul / R&B so go get it.
In the meantime..Enjoy this!!

R&B crooners Jon B and Donell Jones came to the UK for their R&B Icons tour and i managed to get Jon B in the hot-seat for a chat about his new album project ‘Understand’, talk through his collabo with Donell Jones and about his career thus far including being taken under the wing of the legendary Babyface.

Been supporting this guy since he dropped the gem “Blow Out” in 2011.
Well this is every bit as good if not better with it’s raw and infectious beats and a flawless soulful & raunchy delivery. I’m loving this…Not sure about the video but the tune is FIYAH!!! Enjoy!

I am all over this one. An excellent piece of electro soul!
This LA duo have collectively and individually produced for the likes of Anderson .Paak and Terrace Martin. “Electric” is one of those that gets you from the off. Just try not to head nod when this plays.

It’s a welcome return from the Cali born lady that delivered the wonderful track “Good Morning” in early 2017.
I was hoping the 24 year old would keep that refreshing, soothing style of R&B coming and she hasn’t disappointed with this track. Blurred Lines has a 90s cool vibe about it but still most definitely sounds super-fresh. A tune of two parts switching from a warm sweet tone initially before transposing into a darker edged section 3 minutes in. I can’t wait to see what else Joyce Wrice has in store for us in 2019 and beyond.
